Having trouble creating your Silica Control Tool account?
Before contacting the Help Desk, please ensure:
You are entering the correct WSIB account number.
Often companies registered with Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development (MLITSD) have multiple registered accounts. You can find your account number on any documents sent to you by the Ministry.
You have confirmed your legal company name. Often companies registered with the MLITSD have both a legal and an ‘operating’ name. Our database will show only the registered legal name, which may be different from the more commonly used operating name. You can find your legal company name on any documents sent to you by MLITSD.
Your WSIB account number is entered exactly as shown on official MLITSD documents (including leading zeroes).
If your web browser uses an auto-complete feature, ensure the required fields have not been filled in incorrectly by accident.
Before contacting the Silica Tool Help Desk, contact OHCOW to ensure there have not been changes to your account. The Silica Tool database is updated on a monthly basis, therefore new or updated accounts may not be available in real time.
